Description:
Cats are native plants of the West Indies. Generally, planted as an ornamental plant in the yard or in the parks. Shrub, growing upright, height 1-3 m. Stem round, branching simpodial, surface rough, greenish brown. Single leaf, long-stemmed, alternate location. Leaf blade shape oval or oblong, pointed tip, base obtuse, serrated edges, pertulangan pinnate, 12-20 cm long, 6-16 cm wide, light green.Unisexual flowers in a tree. Female flowers in the bouquet-shaped grains gathered out of the armpit leaves, long round shape dangling down, 1 to 1.5 cm in diameter, 20-50 cm long, red. The fruit is round, small, hairy, dark green. Seed is round, small, dirty white. Cats can be propagated by seed.
Curable Disease:
Flowers sweet cats, chocolate, its cool. This flower is believed to stop bleeding (hemostatis) and peluruh urine (diuretic). Hemostatis nutritious roots and leaves.

INDICATIONS
Flowers are used for treatment: dysentery, colitis, bleeding, such as dysentery, vomiting blood, nosebleeds,
worms,burns, ulcers (ulcers) in the legs.
The leaves are used for treatment:
white patches on the skin due to loss of pigment (vitiligo),dysentery, coughing up blood (hemoptysis), bleeding wounds, and
sprue.
HOW TO USE
For drugs taken, boiled 10-30 g of flowers, and drink boiled water.
For external use only, minced leaves or flowers to taste until smooth, then paste it into the sore spot.
EXAMPLE OF USAGE IN PUBLIC
Vitiligo
Wash a handful of fresh leaves and kencur size of half your thumb until clean, then milled until smooth. Apply on the body of mottled white, and dressing.Perform this treatment every day.
Bleeding wounds
To close the wound, wash a handful of fresh leaves thoroughly, then mash until smooth. Glue on the wound, then wrapped with a cloth bandage.
Wash fresh flowers and areca sufficiently until clean, then chew. During chewing, can add a little ginger, kencur, and the young leaves . chewing and dispose the waste water. Do this several times in fresh flowers a day .Crush 30 g and 30 g palm sugar until smooth. Next, eat the mixture. Do 3 times daily until well/ cured .
